The Transportation Informatics Tier I University Transportation Center held its first annual meeting at George Mason University. Researchers from the University of Buffalo, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez, and George Mason University attended the meeting. This kicked off the research, education, and technology transfer activities at the center. Dean Ball of the School of Engineering welcomed researchers from partner institutions. Dr. Goodings, Chair of the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Infrastructure addressed the meeting at the beginning. Dr. Zhu and Dr. Venigalla from CEIE led the discussion of research activities to be conducted at Mason. The center will hold its second annual meeting at GMU in January, 2015.
