GMU’s Engineers for International Development Win Second Place Prize in the 2015 NCEES Engineering Award Competition

pastedImageGMU’s Engineers for International Development won the Second Place prize of $7500 in the 2015 NCEES Engineering Award competition connecting professional practice and education.  EfID’s project to develop water supply, distribution and storage capacity in Sabana Grande, Nicaragua joined GMU student engineers with practicing civil engineers with the goal of enhancing infrastructure in this developing community.  More information about the winning project can be found here: https://cdn.ncees.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/George-Mason_2015.pdf
