Dr. Mohamed E. Hassan has over 25 years of diversified experience in construction management of various commercial and residential projects, including as owner and president of Hassan consulting group, LLC providing engineering services including feasibility studies, analysis, design, land development and construction services. For 15 years, Dr. Hassan was the president of Tristate Development & Construction Inc., a Virginia Class “A” contractor that designed and built commercial and residential projects such as the SLM Concrete Building, the United Central Bank, and the Pegg Run Townhouse subdivision. In the last seven years, Dr. Hassan has taught engineering at different universities in the areas of engineering economics, management information systems, Civil 3D, and structural engineering. Dr. Hassan brings his expertise in construction management including design/bid/build, design/build and Lean Construction to the classroom, sharing his practical experience with the students.
