Viviana Maggioni appointed chief editor

Associate Professor Viviana Maggioni has been appointed as the new chief editor of the Journal of Hydrometeorology (JHM) one of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) journals 

The editorial board currently counts five editors and more than 40 associate editors. 

“The JHM is a top, internationally ranked journal that publishes research findings on critical societal concerns related to water and energy. It is published by the AMS - the premier scientific and professional organization in the U.S. in this field,” said Interim Department Chair Elise Miller-Hooks.  “We in CEIE are excited for Professor Maggioni to take the reigns as the EiC of this important journal. She served as associate editor for the journal since 2016, this move to editor in chief is a testament to her great work.”
